Teaching work for AI
AI Training Jobs for Teachers
AI labs pay teachers, professors and instructors by the hour to grade the explanations and feedback a model gives learners, check them at the grade level and subject they teach, and write the questions and rubrics it is tested on. Every role is checked against its platform's job board daily.

Frequently asked questions
How much do AI training jobs for teachers pay?
Pay is set per project and depends on your subject, grade level and country. Each listing shows its rate where the platform publishes one.
Is an "AI Tutor" job a teaching job?
Not usually. "AI Tutor" is the title xAI gives its AI trainers in every field (languages, video, legal work), so it does not mean teaching. This page lists the roles that ask for teachers, educators, professors and instructors by name.
What does a teacher do in AI training?
You read how an AI model explains a topic, solves a problem or gives a student feedback, grade it against what a good teacher would say at that level, and write better explanations, questions and rubrics. It is remote, hourly contract work, and you never teach a class.
Do I need a teaching license?
It depends on the role. School teacher roles usually ask for classroom experience in the grade and subject they name, and some for a license; professor and lecturer roles ask for college teaching, usually with a graduate degree. Most projects are part time, so many teachers do them around the school year; if you work for a school or district, check its policy on outside work first.
Are these jobs legitimate?
They are posted by established AI data platforms, and each platform's page here covers whether it is legit, how it vets people and how it pays. A legitimate platform never charges you to apply or to get work.
