About the role

The work

You will design original computational chemistry problems that require advanced reasoning and cannot be solved easily by hand. Your work should reflect authentic research workflows in physical chemistry, quantum chemistry, and molecular modeling.

You will also write complete, carefully checked solutions and use Python with computational chemistry libraries to validate each problem set.

  • Create research-grade problems in computational and quantum chemistry.
  • Build comprehensive solutions and verify that they are correct.
  • Use Python and computational chemistry libraries for validation.
  • Model realistic research tasks rather than simple textbook exercises.

What it pays and takes

This is a part-time, project-based contractor role. Compensation depends on the complexity of each task and the expertise it requires.
