ESL Teacher Expert

ESL teachers to build the language learning scenarios frontier AI labs use to test model judgment. We're hiring ESL teachers as contractors to author and grade the language learning scenarios those evaluations run on. Responsibilities

• Author realistic ESL teaching scenarios across proficiency levels
• Write reference answers with the pedagogical reasoning behind each decision
• Grade model output for accuracy and level appropriateness
• Flag explanations that read correct but would confuse a language learner

Required qualifications

• TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification, or a state ESL teaching license
• 2+ years of classroom or online ESL teaching
• Depth in lesson planning, error correction, and proficiency assessment
• Clear written English for documenting pedagogical reasoning
• Able to commit at least 10 hours per week

Preferred qualifications

• Experience teaching multiple proficiency levels or age groups
• Exam preparation experience such as IELTS, TOEFL, or Cambridge
• Curriculum or materials development experience
